The Road to Hana

You can just see the road carved in the side of the cliffs in the photo above.

Hana Bay

Lunch! I bought a Chilli Hot Dog!

Great Legs!!

The road to Hana is supposed to be one of the most awe inspiring drives in the world! It is 52 miles long and has 600 bends and 54 single lane bridges. It is literarlly carved into the side of the island of Maui and offers some of the most breathtaking views and oceanfront scenery. Along the way there are waterfalls, rain forest, cold water plunge pools, and black sand beaches. A picnic is a must, however today I was treated to a new delicacy, an aquatic sandwich, which was created after the top came off our water jug and soaked everything in the cooler!

For Mike & Sue, our song of the day was ' The Long & Winding Road by The Beatles' !!

Here are some photo's from our trip.
Aloha & Mahola.
